Equal Opportunity Employer
Idaho Farm Labor
The Idaho Farm Labor program provides a variety of employment and wage data. Each year, wage surveys are conducted to determine the prevailing wage for various seasonal agriculture jobs including sheepherders, sheepshearers, nursery workers, irrigators and general farm workers. The survey also gathers information on prevailing practices for the same jobs. The Idaho Farm Labor program develops monthly employment estimates for agriculture industries both covered and not covered by unemployment insurance. These data are developed for a variety of uses including the calculation of labor force data. Idaho's agricultural conditions, labor demands and wages are published in the Crop Activity List.
