  • Job postings for registered nurses and customer service representatives in south central Idaho have grown 178% and 200% respectively year over year. This is due to the job posting doubling year after year.

  • Health care and manufacturing job postings increased 90% year over year, while retail trade saw modest growth at 13% year over year. Health care and manufacturing are continuing to rapidly grow while retail is continuing to slow.

  • A new Shoshone Falls overlook is planned in Jerome County. The project has not been fully funded yet but is planned to begin breaking ground this fall. Source: Magic Valley Times-News
